A T2 adapter ring is used to connect your SLR camera to the camera adapter of, for example, telescopes, microscopes, binoculars and spotting scopes. You then screw a camera adapter to your telescope, for example, and use a T2 ring to adapt this camera adapter to the bayonet connection on your SLR camera. You then remove the lens from your camera and click the T2 ring directly onto the camera body.
