Hold function: When the patient is restless, a stable weight value is determined by taking the average and "freezing" it. This leaves sufficient time to devote to the patient and then to read the weight value at rest.

Mother-Child Function: The mother's weight, determined by weighing, is set to zero at the push of a button. Then mother and child are weighed together. The child's weight is then shown directly on the display. Particularly pleasant for small children, who can thus be weighed safely and securely on the mother's arm.
