The Charge sensor BT19i measures electrostatic charges and can be used as a replacement of an electroscope. The sensor can also be used to measure charge polarity. The sensor has three operating ranges, -5..5 nC, -25..25 nC, -100..100 nC, and a zeroing switch to discharge the input capacitor.
The Charge sensor is designed for experiments in electrostatics such as:
• measurement of charge by induction,
• measurement of charge production and distribution;
• measurement of charge on a capacitor.
The Charge sensor can be directly connected to the analog BT inputs of the CMA interfaces.
The sensor cable BT - IEEE1394 needed to connect the sensor to an interface is not supplied with the sensor and has to be purchased separately (CMA Art. Nr BTsc_1).
