Clean results
Minerals in tap water can disrupt the cleaning process and cause deposits on the instruments and inside the appliance. Miele thermal disinfectors are factory fitted with a water softener, which extensively removes ions that cause hardness from tap water. For very hard tap water and in practices with many instruments, an additional, complete demineralisation of the water may be worthwhile.
