This extra sensitive GM tube has a large window with a diameter of nearly 3 cm, making it suitable for experiments with radioactive minerals, radon daughters and other low activity sources. Alpha, beta and gamma radiation can be detected.The housing is supplied with a protective cap as well as a protective grid in front of the window. The cap should be removed when working with alpha or beta radiation while gamma radiation easily penetrates the cap. A mount with a Ø 10 mm steel rod is included.GM tubes with BNC connector are compatible with GM counter 5136.00 (and older models like 5135.30 and 5135.35).
