Consist of an incandescent lamp and a resistor of the same resistance.
A fixed amount of electrical energy is applied to these in turn and the temperature rises in the surrounding water are measured.
The lamp's efficiency is determined by finding the energy loss from the bulb
(which heats the water) and the total energy deposited by the resistor.
The difference between these is radiated as light.
Measurements: Height 120mm , diameter 70mm.
