his apparatus is designed for demonstration of standing waves and for determination of the wavelengths of sound waves in air. The tube is supplied with a millimetre scale and a moveable piston for changing the length of the air column. (You will also need an external sound source - e.g. 2240.10 Tuning fork 1000 Hz, together with 2245.61 Striking hammer.)
