Jacob's ladder in insulated house. A spark bridge is formed between two wires that are almost vertical, but with gradually increasing distance in height.
Both electrodes are fixed in a Plexiglas tube where from the outside one of the electrodes is adjustable to get the ideal distance for the formation of the arc.
To obtain the required breakdown voltage, a high-voltage power supply capable of supplying 10 to 30 kVolts is required. Also demonstration transformer with primary 600 windings with power cord (459645) and secondary 24000 windings (459655) is suitable.
Tube diameter 90 mm, 600 mm long.
Base plate 200 x 200 mm.
