The LOGYCAP system allows the user to save and display on a computer screen
the mechanical and electrical magnitudes of machine installations (asynchronous
motors, synchronous machines, single phase motors, DC machines).
LOGYCAP is composed of an interface connecting the motor test bench to a PC,
and a program which displays these magnitudes in real time. During acquisition,
the values recorded for voltage, current, absorbed power, torque, rotation speed
and power output are displayed simultaneously as graphs and figures. With DC
rotary machines, LOGYCAP recording in addition of the voltage, current and
power absorbed (inductor parameters).
At the end of the acquisition phase, LOGYCAP uses the recorded values to calculate
and draw supplementary electrical and mechanical characteristics such as
slip, efficiency output, active power, reactive power, power factor…
LOGYCAP can be used with a torque simulator or a speed variator which permits
the simulation of specific resistant torque type loads speed, square of the speed,
constant torque functions
