Standard filter paper for qualitative analysis
The quality filter paper is made of refined pulp and linters; it contains approximately 95 % alpha cellulose. The smooth surface of this paper prevents the fibres from foaming. The paper is particularly strong in the wet state and can also be used for the filtration of strongly alkaline or acidic solutions. Because of its high mechanical resistance in the wet state, this paper is particularly suitable for applications in which the filter cake must be preserved.
