The Nova Rico is an elegant and very complete globe. The globe is made of plexiglass, the base is solid walnut wood and the meridian has a beautiful copper finish. This globe is equipped with lighting and has a dual map view. You can order this globe with an English or a Dutch map image (the map image in the picture is in a different language), it's up to you what you prefer!
Dual map view
The Maximus Relief globe features a dual map view. When the light is off, the physical layout of the world is shown. This map shows the different zones that the Earth's surface has. The earth's surface is divided into cultivated land, savannah, coniferous/leaf forest, tropical rainforest, steppe, desert, tundra and snow/ice.
When the light is on, you get to see a different representation of the Earth's surface. This classification is called political classification. With the light on, all countries are distinguished from each other by clear colours. This map view shows the following data: all major cities (incl. population display), warm and cold sea currents, ocean ridges (extra clear), time zones, country and sea names.
