Geiger-Müller sensor with built-in high-voltage supply and amplifier. It is an excellent choice for most of the traditional school radioactivity experiments.
The GM tube is sensitive to alpha, beta and gamma radiation. Supplied with a protective cap for the delicate mica window. Remove the cap when investigating alpha or beta radiation.
The GM sensor is provided with a beeper that indicates each particle registered. The beeper can be muted.
This type is compatible with data logging equipment, our GM Counter 513600, Coincidence Box 513800, and Electronic Counter 200250. Electronics experiments can use this sensor with the 663010 Interface kit.
With a cable 248608, the GM sensor can connect to a Vernier datalogger.
Mounted on a Ø 10 mm steel post.
(Replaces previous model 513570.)
