AXEL is a full body untethered on-the go portable patient simulator with built-in AV solution.
AXEL is an ideal untethered/stand-alone simulator to train nurses, medical students & patient care personnel anywhere (no control center required) to:
Build critical thinking, decision-making & priority-setting skills
Perform patient physical assessment
Evaluate vitals and waveforms with simulated patient monitor
Create automated performance assessment of learning objectives
Maintain treatment plan with customizable labs and medical orders
Practice procedures such as I.V. administration, catheterization, and airway management
Assess advanced life support performance with CPR Metrics
Live stream and/or record patient perspective during simulated events
AXEL will provide an interactive experience where trainees can perform real-time assessments and treatments with optional enhanced model-driven physiology. AXEL provides time stamped log entries (Simulation logs stored up to 365 days) for skills like:
Obtain blood pressure, including two-step blood pressure
Feel Pulses
Listening to Heart, Lung and Bowel sounds
CPR – compression rate/depth & ventilations
Built in Defibrillator/Pacer & 12 Lead ECG
AXEL
Scenario-driven, instructor-controlled
Facilitate patient learner communication via internal microphone and speakers in real-time
Model-driven physiology with pharmaceutical treatment simulations
Virtual AED/Pacing and 12 lead ECG
5-year warranty
AXEL is equipped with abilities for intubation and observation of programable spontaneous chest rise and fall for your respiratory needs.
As the instructor, you will be able to control all of AXEL’s vitals, configure and run scenarios, create measurable objectives, communicate to students remotely via internal microphone and speakers, and even view and record video from the patient’s perspective through Axel’s IrisCam™ recording 1000 hours. All of this can be done in the cloud with a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
AXEL must be connected to the Internet to be fully functional. He can be connected via a wired connection (Ethernet) or a wireless connection (Wi-Fi®). AXEL can run on battery up to 8 hours.
Weight: 45 lbs. (20 kg) Height: 5 ft. 1 in. (1.55 m)
Dimensions: 41” H x 19.5” W x 15” D
Ask about optional IV Arm (101-8029 Light skin tone/101-8029M Medium skin tone) and Female conversation kit (101-7160 Light Skin Tone/ 101-7160M Medium Skin Tone).
