This Pelton turbine demonstrates how running water can be used to generate electricity and can light a light bulb or LED. To achieve the highest power production, the pressure of a faucet should be used, with the "turbine" capable of producing a voltage level of 2.4 V AC and 0.6 A.
Application: Run the water jet from the faucet at full power through the inlet hole down onto the turbine blades. The rotation of the turbine causes a small electric generator to produce electricity.
Recommended bulbs: 425005 bulb E10 1.5V 0.09A or 425100 LED bulb E10 4-12V white.
The turbine can run 3 x 425100 LED bulbs in parallel.
The turbine housing is made of plexiglass and the turbine wheel is colored metal.
Dimension:285 x 165 x 57 mm.
