An asynchronous motor can transform mechanical energy into electrical energy.
To achieve this transformation, it must be driven above the synchronous speed.
QUICK-IPLUS is a set of measurement modules (H-250mm) of commutation and 2 asynchronous motors mounted on the same rotation axis allowing the study of hypersynchrony.
The variable speed drive module drives the first motor above its synchronous speed so that the second becomes a three-phase generator. A central zero wattmeter module indicates the direction of the electrical energy consumed or restituted in the case of restitution to the network. A phase meter module with a central zero shows the evolution of the COS ϕ as a function of the addition of the capacitors or the variation in speed.
