Drying ovens (Memmert)
With metal door, mechanical temperature control and fixed temperature limiter.
The UN series is heated by convection. Temperature fluctuations are prevented by the circulation of the supplied fresh air. The heating concept ensures precise and homogeneous temperature control. Thanks to the innovative design of the handles, the fully insulated door can also be opened with one hand, elbow or knee. The menu is very user-friendly, intuitive and can be set to a large number of parameters via the single touch screen display (SingleDISPLAY). The lab furnace is equipped with an autodiagnostic system for error analysis.
Multiple variants available: see below for an overview
Glass doors
As an option you can choose to equip a dry kiln with a glass door instead of a metal one. Here are the possibilities:
Difference between incubators and universal ovens?
Incubators are equipped with a glass inner door and a temperature range of 30 - 70 °C. They are intended for incubation/brooding (biological laboratory work). Or as Memmert itself says:
"The incubator is at home everywhere in the world of research, medicine, pharmaceuticals and food analysis, as well as in food chemistry".
A universal oven has a temperature range up to 300°C. Intended for all kinds of general laboratory work. Again, in Memmert's words:
"Universal oven: precise drying, heating, ageing, burning in and hardening in research, science, industry and quality assurance."
