Introduction In Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR).
This is a way of specifically multiplying one or more sections from small amounts of DNA until there is enough of it to analyse.
This introduction to PCR involves working with simulated DNA, there is no human DNA in this test, nor is a Thermocycler needed.
The kit contains: ready-to-use DNA samples, UltraSpec agarose, electrophoresis buffer, training solution, FlashBlue DNA staining, InstaStain staining sheets and disposable pipette tips.
Also required: electrophoresis device, micropipettes, light box and a microwave or heating plate.
